WoodPro: The Pennsylvania Wood Products Productivity Program

Beginning in Summer, 2002, the Wood Products Extension program at Penn State began operating under a new umbrella program: WoodPro - The Pennsylvania Wood Products Productivity Program. WoodPro was created to ensure that the wood products industries of Pennsylvania receive optimal exposure to relevant, value-adding resources of Penn State and from around the world. Our shared vision at WoodPro is a Pennsylvania as the driving hub of a powerful and world-recognized regional wood-products producing center, with Penn State resources at the core.

At WoodPro, our associate faculty is committed to ensure that our Pennsylvania Wood Industries constituents receive the support in two key areas:

  • Best Practices and Technology Trends
  • Decision Support at all phases of Wood Products Manufacture

If you're a Pennsylvania wood products producer, and you don't see the kind of information you're looking for on this site, please contact Chuck Ray, PSU Wood Products Extension Specialist, at cdr14@psu.edu or call him at 814-865-0679.

Thanks for your interest. We at Penn State look forward to working with you.
